  • Day 1- Arrival with Airport transfer to Hotel in Bologna, city centre.

              Check-In and Relax.  Welcome Group Dinner in Bologna.


  • Day 2- Cooking Class I-4-hour course featuring the preparation of a variety of pastas and different cuts.   Part 2 is a variety of sauces to prepare with fresh pasta.

       Meal of what class prepared.  All classes instructed in English.

  • Day 3- Cooking Class II- 4-hour course –Morning will begin with a visit to the Mercato di Mezzo in the heart of Bologna to source todays ingredients.  Today’s class will feature the classic dishes of Bolognese cooking.  Ragu di Bolognese, Tortellini, Lasagne Bolognese….

       Meal to Follow of day’s preparation

  • Day 4- Cooking Class III-4 hour course- Day will again begin at Market, today’s lesson will feature typical and traditional Emiliani foods that will be decided upon together by the group and instructor.   Meal to follow of day’s preparation.

  • Day 5- This is a free day to explore the wonderful vibrant city of Bologna. The day’s activities may include a guided 2-hour walking tour throughout Bologna.

        Group dinner in the evening at one of Bologna’s many traditional Trattoria.


  • Day 6- Walk on the Hills of Grasparossa-A walk with an expert guide between the vineyards of Grasparossa vineyards in a winery handed down over generations, immersed in nature among the verdant hills of Castelvetro.  Following this we will enjoy an uforgettable experience at an historical Acetaia located in the quaint and enchanting village of Castelvetro.  Here we will learn the ancient techniques of traditional Balsamico di Modena production and visit the barrel rooms where this ancient vinegar has been stored for genertions, we will also be offered the chance to taste many of the different aged vinegars.  We will end the day with dinner Dinner at a local winery


  • Day 7- Parmigiano Reggiano & Cars- Today we will be up and out early so that we can witness the entire cheese making production.  Our tour will show you the entire process for production of Parmigiano-Reggiano DOP and a visit to a unique collection of vintage Maserati cars.  A professional tour guide will walk us through the various production phases, explaining all of the stages involved.  It will also be possible to visit the land and farms to see the animals used in the production of milk in the cheese making process.  We will visit the storage rooms where hundreds of wheels of Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese are stored.  We will conclude the afternoon with a buffet lunch in the location of the old vintage Maserati cars.


  • Day 8- Departure
